The usual steps of CNC machine tool debugging

 General steps for designing and debugging machine tools:

  • Check before power on. Usually the designer does not make circuit connections, so there will always be more or less problems, and the inspection work before power-on becomes very important. Usually divided into: a, short circuit inspection;b, open circuit inspection (the loop is not open); c, insulation inspection to the ground. Recommended method: a. You can use a multimeter to check one by one. This will take the longest time, but the inspection is the most complete; b. Loop check, that is, check whether there is a short circuit or open circuit between each circuit, and whether it is between the ground There is a short circuit (pay attention to the impedance value of the transformer).
  • Check the power supply voltage before power-on. The voltage value of each country is different, so the voltage sent to different countries is different. Pay attention to the withstand voltage value of the vitality parts. In order to reduce unnecessary losses, be sure to check the voltage of the input power before turning on the power. The voltage required by the schematic is the same. Recommended method: Before turning on the main power switch, measure the voltage on the primary side and record it.
  • Check the circuit voltage. Before power-on, turn off the switches at all levels in the loop, and measure the voltage of each loop to see if it is the same as the design value and record it. Recommended circuit: a. Input and output voltage of the transformer; b. Input and output voltage of the switching power supply (Note: When measuring the output voltage of the switching power supply, please remove the output wire of the switching power supply first).
  • I/O check. I/O inspection includes: PLC input and output inspection, solenoid valve circuit inspection, sensor inspection, button circuit inspection. When checking I/O, first turn on the control power supply of its loop, which is generally 24V. Recommended method: a. According to the characteristics of the I/O loop, a wire can be used to short-circuit 0V or 24V to see if the corresponding I/O points, sensors, and solenoid valve indicator lights are on. "On" means the circuit is OK, "No "On" means NG. b. Check while debugging, that is, judge the fault point through PLC monitoring during the debugging process. Although this method can save time, it has certain dangers.Note: In the above inspection, short circuit, open circuit, short circuit to ground, and incorrect sensor switch installation position can be detected to ensure the smooth progress of further debugging.
  • Download the program. Download programs include: PLC program, GOT program (including OS), positioning module parameters, configuration parameters, CNC system software, etc. Download the written program to the corresponding system, and check the system alarm. There is no smooth sailing in the world. There will always be some system alarms, which are usually caused by abnormal parameter settings. Set normal parameters according to the alarm content. If a module cannot be detected normally, please replace it or contact the supplier (provided that the wiring is correct).
  • ​​Parameter setting. Parameter settings include: communication settings (such as: GOT/OP, CC-LINK), inverter parameter settings, intelligent module parameters and detection device parameters.
  • The axis starts. Connect the main circuit, start the shaft with the button or key, and judge its rotation direction, and measure whether the speed is close to the set value.
  • Manual operation debugging confirmation.
  • Set processing parameters.
  • Single step action and dry run action debugging confirmation.
  • Automatic operation debugging confirmation.
  • Continuous operation.
  • Alarm and safety inspection and confirmation.
